What is all-in-one AI?

"All-in-one AI" usually means a single tool that puts several AI models — like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini — behind one interface. Here's what that is, and the honest trade-offs.

The short version

An all-in-one AI tool (also called an AI aggregator or multi-model workspace) lets you reach several AI models from one place instead of opening a separate app for each. Some let you send the same prompt to multiple models and compare the answers side by side.

It's a different idea from a cowork app. A cowork app is about an agent acting on your computer; all-in-one AI is about access — having many models available without juggling logins and tabs.

Advantages — and the catch

All-in-one AI is genuinely useful, but it isn't magic.

AdvantageThe honest catch
One place for many modelsConvenience, fewer tabs — but you're trusting one vendor's wrapper around others' models.
Compare answers side by sideHelpful for hard questions — though for simple tasks one model is plenty.
Often cheaper than stacking subscriptionsCan save money if you'd otherwise pay for several — verify which models and limits are actually included.
Switch models per taskRight tool for the job — but features can lag the native apps (voice, latest models, app extras).
